Not only this, but Josephus' "Antiquities" relates facts, found heretofore only in the Bible, concerning almost all of the characters in Sacred Scripture. The"Works of Josephus" is the most amazing book I have seen regarding ancient and Biblical history by a man who lived from 38 to 100 A.D., and who was actually living in Jerusalem when it was destroyed in 70 A.D. by the Roman army. His "Wars of the Jews" narrates the Maccabean revolts and notes (to a lesser extent) Jesus and His apostles, the fall of Masaba, etc. The book is a HUGE bargain.

Arrived very quickly and in better condition than I expected. A great book giving great history of the Hebrew people from their beginning and shortly past the destruction of the final temple.
